At Let’s Self Drive, we believe in complete transparency while selling pre-owned scooties and bikes in Mumbai. Our buying policy ensures that every customer clearly understands the terms & conditions related to vehicle condition, ownership transfer, and payments. Please read the following points carefully before making a purchase.
We request you to carefully read the following policy before purchasing a pre-owned two-wheeler from Let’s Self Drive.
1. Vehicle Condition
All vehicles are sold in “as-is” condition based on the buyer’s inspection.
We do not guarantee or commit to any repairs
Buyers are encouraged to check the scooter/bike thoroughly before finalizing the deal.
2. Pricing
At Let’s Self Drive, all our vehicle prices are decided strictly on the current condition of the bike or scooty. The listed price is the final value based on market rates and condition at the time of sale.
The Price/quote given for the vehicle is based on its condition as observed at the time of inspection. Please note that our pricing is already quoted after considering the vehicle’s present condition (including visible wear & tear or minor issues, if any). Any additional repairs or replacements discovered later (e.g., meter, battery, electrical faults, bodywork) are not included in the quoted price and will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. Once purchased, the buyer accepts the vehicle ‘as-is’.
If any additional repair or customization is required by the buyer, the cost will be separate and borne by the buyer.
Customers are free to inspect the vehicle before purchase and proceed only if they are satisfied with its current condition and value Quoted.
This ensures transparent and fair pricing without hidden charges or last-minute changes.
Special discounts/offers (festive or promotional) are valid only within the specified time.
3. Documents Provided
With every purchase, the buyer will receive:
Xerox RC Book/Smart Card
Valid Insurance
Valid PUC
Delivery Note
4. Transfer of Ownership
RC transfer is done through RTO and requires buyer’s cooperation (signatures, OTP confirmation).
Until RC is officially transferred, the buyer will be responsible for all traffic fines, challans, or legal matters related to the vehicle.
5. Payment Terms
100% payment to be made at the time of purchase.
Accepted modes: UPI / Bank Transfer / Cash.
Once payment is made and delivery note is signed, no refund or cancellation is possible.
6. Warranty
No warranty is provided on pre-owned vehicles.
Battery/engine/speedometer/tyre or other consumables are sold in current condition only.
7. Repairs / Parts Replacement after Sale
Post-sale repairs (including meter/odometer fixes, engine repairs, or part replacements) are the responsibility of the buyer.
If buyer requires us to do a repair before sale, that must be agreed and priced upfront.
8. Fraud Prevention & Verification
We conduct ID & document verification. Suspicious or forged documents will be reported to authorities and the transaction will be void.
9. Buyer’s Responsibility
Ensure correct and valid details are given for RC transfer.
Maintain valid insurance and PUC after purchase.
Take full responsibility for traffic rules, accidents, or challans after handover.
9. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes, the matter will be settled amicably first.
If unresolved, jurisdiction will remain with Mumbai courts.
10. Data Privacy
Personal information collected for verification and transfer will be used only for transaction-related purposes and stored securely as per applicable laws.
